Overdrive is the word of the day at the moment! My daughters are back at school and everything is heading towards Autumn which is one of my favourite times of the year! 

I am working on a huge amount of illustration work for a client, but along side this I am also working on a couple of new commissions which I am happy to say have derived from the #paintseptember twitter activity I am involved in.

I really recommend you check out the other work posted on twitter as it is both encouraging and inspiring. 

The fact that I am forcing myself to produce something everyday is actually making me look at how I apply an image and answer the questions in a short space of time. 

This is also helping me with my other work too because It's a bit like having a warm up before a long exercise. I primarily use acrylics for a lot of my paintings but I have decided to use watercolour and ink for most of them which is a little out of my comfort zone.
