Timelapse of two pencil sketched figure drawings
My latest timelapse video is some examples of sketching figures. These are my partner's children, who are perfect subjects for sketching. For some years I was always sketching my own daughters as they were always a great source of inspiration for daily sketching.
I usually try and sketch them while watching TV, but In this instance, I took pictures of them
in order to do the timelapse and I did a slightly longer sketch of each of them.
Each sketch took around 45mins each.

Sketches of my daughters
My Daughters have always been and still are, a great source for sketching. I have put together a selection of the sketches that I have done over the years so far of the three of them. Most were live sketches and when I look at them, they show more of a visual diary capturing moments in time and development.
The first block of sketches below is of my youngest daughter Poppy. I tend to use pencil or ink for my sketches and occasionally some watercolour over the top if I get time.
The second series of sketches below is of my daughter Olivia. Some of them range from 10 - 20 minute sketches.
The last set of sketches below is of my step daughter Chelsi.
I am looking forward to drawing more of them as they get older, though they are starting to get a little fed up of me sketching them all the time!
